Deboarding process for Partners:

Partners can be deboarded from the NPCI Partner Program because of multiple reasons such as fraud, non-compliance to framework requirements or program terms and conditions, termination by the Partner, closure of business, etc. In all scenarios the following de-boarding mechanism will be followed:

  • a. Immediate de-boarding: Provide 30 days’ notice to the Partner to provide clarification on the points raised. This will be for non-compliance of critical items. If not closed in 30 days, the de-boarding steps will be initiated.
  • b. Non-renewal of Partnership: The NPP contract with the partner will not be renewed after expiry of the existing contract. This will be for non-critical concerns and scenario.

The following steps will complete the de-boarding process:

  • 1. Acknowledgement from NPP Committee on de-boarding
  • 2. Physical letter at the registered office of the VAS Partner (informing of de-boarding)
  • 3. Removal of Partners credentials on NPP web portal
  • 4. Market communication (if necessary)
